Walter Knoll Florist is being honored at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park as a featured Saint Louis company that is more than 100 years old.  The History Museum has asked for and Walter Knoll Florist has donated the original sign from the 5501 Chippewa store in south St Louis.  The new display at the Missouri History Museum will open in a few months.  We’ll try to keep you posted as we know you want to see this display! While you are there, have lunch, I hear the food is great at the Meriwether Restaurant! They’ve even been featured on the Food Network.

Walter Knoll Florist moved from the Chippewa location in January of 2008 to their newest location just 4 blocks away at 4620 Hampton Ave in the Saint Louis Hills neighborhood.  The sign was put up in the early 60s and features a multi colored art deco logo.  In the 90s the sign was updated with a new roof and new lighting.
