Walter Knoll Florist Announces Community Blood Drive 2012
On Thursday, August 23, Walter Knoll Florist is sponsoring a community blood drive at our Saint Louis Hills location – 4620 Hampton Ave, just South of Hampton Village. Hours of the blood drive are from 10am to 3pm. Each donor will receive a FREE dozen roses and a freshly cooked Kenrick’s Meat Market bratwurst or salsiccia, a collectible T-Shirt (while they last) plus snacks. You’ll even be entered to win a $100 gas card (see below). Woody from “the Point” will be there for lunch, you should too! What a great time to donate! This blood drive is being held in coordination with the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center. Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is an independent, not-for-profit organization that plays an integral role in the health of the community. Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is a community-based blood center serving the SSM Medical Centers through throughout the Saint Louis metropolitan area including Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. “Blood cannot be manufactured, you can only get it from human donations and the need is constant. “Just one blood donation can help save the lives of up to three patients in our area hospitals. The work we do helps to keep families whole.”

This summer, blood donors with Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) can help top off the local blood supply and receive a chance to win a $100 gas card at the same time! To help ensure an adequate blood supply for our region during the difficult summer months, MVRBC will hold a weekly drawing for one $100 gas gift card through Saturday, September 8th.
All persons who present to give blood will be eligible to win a $100 gas card drawing.
